What is a Sports
Massage?

A sports massage is a type of massage therapy that uses various techniques to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. While commonly associated with athletes, it's beneficial for anyone experiencing muscle tension, pain, or restricted movement due to physical activity, repetitive strain, or even stress. It can help improve circulation, increase flexibility and range of motion, reduce muscle soreness and stiffness, and promote overall physical well-being, making it a valuable tool for a wide range of individuals, not just those engaged in intense sports.

Now Available

I now have a new treatment available, Fire cupping.

What is cupping?

Introducing a powerful new addition to our wellness offerings, cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that uses specialized cups to create gentle suction on your skin. This unique process is designed to significantly increase local blood flow, helping to release deep-seated muscle tension, reduce inflammation, and ease discomfort you might be experiencing. As a new experience for many, you'll discover how cupping can enhance your body's natural healing processes, promote relaxation, and leave you feeling wonderfully revitalized and renewed.

Now Avaialble.

Another new treatment available in my Northampton clinic. I am one of the few therapists in the Northamptonshire area that is trained and experienced in delivering this innovative, low-force, and effective treatment.

This makes my practice a unique destination for patients seeking this advanced form of care.

What is Dermoneuromodulation (DNM)?

Introducing yet another powerful new addition to our wellness offerings. Dermoneuromodulation (DNM) is a hands-on manual therapy approach that focuses on the nervous system and its relationship with the skin. It’s a gentle, patient-centered technique used to address pain and dysfunction by directly interacting with the body's primary control centre: the central nervous system. DNM operates on the principle that the skin, being the largest organ and a direct extension of the nervous system, provides a crucial entry point for therapeutic intervention. The therapist uses a slow, light, and specific touch to stimulate nerve endings in the skin. This sensory input travels up to the brain, where it can influence how the brain perceives and processes sensations, particularly pain. This creates a more harmonious conversation between the skin and the brain.
